Now as a 20-year Music Educator in Hamden, CT, I am delighted to continue our relationship and work with CMC. Creative Music Center has and continues to exceed all of my expectations. As a high school music director, I am constantly in need of equipment, repairs, and other various last-minute needs. CMC has a dedicated staff. They travel to our school weekly in order to make deliveries and pick up repairs and any new information (needs). The staff is friendly and flexible. They know the constraints of public school resources and help to work around any difficulties in order to provide the best service. Specifically, Hamden Public Schools requires a lot of work from CMC. CMC rents HPS several hundred instruments each year to 10 schools in our district. CMC takes GREAT pride in delivering, repairing, picking up, and maintaining meticulous records. I know that CMC is contracted to many districts, but that doesn’t compromise their connection with our schools. As a professional musician, my bass trombone has been repaired by the CMC crew. They know how to take care of my personal instruments and take my needs into consideration before and during the repair process. Moreover, school instruments come back in reasonable time with “loaners” as needed. I have moved in distance from CMC, but am very glad to still be connected with them and to have brought them into my current district!"
