Educators
Our knowledgeable staff works directly with private music teachers and public school music teachers from all over the state of Connecticut in order to provide their students with quality student, intermediate and professional instruments, any music books and accessories their music program requires, and expert instrument repairs. Whether it's to request a pickup or just request a quote, we are here to help. Let this page serve as a resource to you, but if you need immediate service, please give us a call.
We are also here to serve area educators in advocating for music education. As you can see here we provide music educators the information, data, and voices they might need to persuade local constituents (e.g. Boards of Education, Boards of Finance, school administrators, etc.) to build their local music and arts budgets and programs.

DISTRICTS WE SERVE
Music Advocacy
The employees of Creative Music Center have a vested interest in the growth of music programs in Monroe, Connecticut, and the surrounding towns. While this is obvious, we’d like to share our abiding belief in the importance of music education locally, regionally, AND nationally. Our founder’s (Liz Reisman) core passions and strong convictions were built on the empirical facts that involvement in youth music programs makes for a more successful, healthier, and happier adult. You will see some of that data in the resources we have shared in our Musical Notes Blog.
Over the years, we have been activists as well with lobbying efforts in Washington D.C. and Hartford working closely with the National Association of Music Merchants and other music education trade associations. Our activities have included fly-ins to the nation’s capital, visits to Hartford, and regular planning meetings via conference calls and now Zoom. We have also hosted numerous politicians from local, state, and national jurisdictions.
Please let us know how we can help.
